MSSANZ is governed by a constitution.  The affairs of the Society are managed by a management committee elected by the membership at Annual General Meetings.

HISTORY

The Society was formed in 1974 as the Simulation Society of Australia Inc. (SSA), to become the Modelling and Simulation Society of Australia (MSSA) in 1991. In 1997, it expanded to include New Zealand as MSSANZ Inc. It is an affiliate of the International Association for Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (IMACS), and the Society for Computer Simulation (SCS).
