A10. Mathematical modelling designed to assess the impacts of global changes

The impact of global changes, including population growth and climate variability has consequences in many areas. These include a wide spectrum of impacts such as increased flooding and bushfire events, increased demand for services and infrastructure, and changes in spread and frequency of disease and pest plant and animal species. We invite papers which describe research on modelling complex systems which are under pressure from these changes. The session is focused on, but not limited to, the application of operations research, statistical modelling and simulation modelling to these problems.
