There is an urgent global need to reduce the use of fossil fuels, yet demand for their use continues to grow. Biofuels are currently readily available to reduce dependence of fossil fuels. This session focuses on modelling, simulation and optimisation of biofuel combustion in internal combustion engines. It includes prediction of combustion, thermodynamics, engine performance, exhaust emission, and environmental impacts.
