Medical and biomedical systems present a wide range of problems which models can provide greater insight into. These include fluid and solid mechanics problems, biophysical and biochemical problems, among others. Examples include haemodynamics and respiratory simulation, drug delivery, tissue and bone grafting technologies, and human movement. This session will cover all aspects of biomedical modelling and simulation.
