The impact of China's economy on the world is very significant, including issues such as economic growth, environmental impact, resource demand and population growth. The session is concerned with theoretical modelling and empirical papers related to China. Possible topics include, but are not limited to, the following areas: modelling economic growth of China; regional economy and environment; models of regional economic development in China; industry restructuring and regulation; finance and investment; employment and human resource management; poverty and regional disparity; ecological footprint and economic development of China; innovation and development; policy modelling; resource demand modelling and sustainability policy.
