Changes of temperature and precipitation patterns are altering the spatial and temporal distribution of energy, water and nutrients, increasing natural disasters, modifying natural processes, ecosystem structure and functions, and changing the distribution of plant and animal species. Earth surface modelling is significant in simulating the impacts of climate change on ecosystems and human adaptation to these changes on global level. The aim of this session is to provide a forum for scientists from around the world to exchange related results, concepts, methods, and theories of earth surface modelling.
