{"id":800,"date":"2025-10-17T09:15:45","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T23:15:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mssanz.org.au\/modsim2027\/?page_id=800"},"modified":"2026-06-15T20:45:10","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T10:45:10","slug":"program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.mssanz.org.au\/modsim2027\/program\/","title":{"rendered":"Code of Conduct"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-364b7c34\">\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-4a31bd9a\">\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MODSIM2027 is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment that promotes the open exchange of ideas, intellectual curiosity, and academic collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Code of Conduct applies to all conference-related activities, including presentations, panels, workshops, poster sessions and social events associated with the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All participants\u2014attendees, presenters, organisers, sponsors, and volunteers\u2014are expected to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Treat all individuals with courtesy, professionalism, and respect<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foster a culture of constructive dialogue and academic integrity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage in discussions that are open, thoughtful, and free from personal attacks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respect the diversity of perspectives, disciplines, and backgrounds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the participation of all individuals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MODSIM2027 has a zero-tolerance policy regarding aggression, harassment, violence or discrimination towards any conference attendee, staff or volunteer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All participants have the right to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A safe and respectful environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Protection from abusive, aggressive, or violent behaviour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equal treatment regardless of gender, background, or role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants are expected to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accurately represent their research and contributions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acknowledge the work of others appropriately<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow ethical guidelines for data use, authorship, and collaboration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you or someone you know is concerned about any behaviour witnessed or experienced at a conference related activity, please bring it to the attention of MSSANZ staff at the MSSANZ booth.
